An increasing number of clients come to us for counselling, having at the root of their problems some form of financial difficulty. Staffcare can help client’s access free debt counselling, where the extent of their problems can be identified and action plans determined, This service is provided by external, not-for-profit organisations, which provide free, impartial advice.

Legal Advice

Clients also come to us for counselling, after becoming stressed or anxious over situations that require legal advice. Staffcare can direct client’s to organisations where free legal advice is normally available for routine, personal matter.

Personal Advice Line (PAL)

For more complex legal matter, the Personal Advice Line will provide impartial legal advice on areas such as contract disputes, faulty goods, debt, matrimonial issues or mortgage and financial problems. The advice is provided by a team of trained solicitors, who can be accessed on a separate free ‘phone number, during weekdays and Saturday mornings.

The PAL service has to be purchased separately by the employer and attracts an annual per capita charge.
