Critical Incident Stress Management Service

Staffcare is recognised as the foremost provider of Critical Incident Stress Management services in Ireland. Staffcare is the only organisation in Ireland and the UK to have been invited to join the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (U.S.A) [ICISF] and to be recognised on their International web site.

In the event of any critical incident, immediate advice and support is available by contacting the 24-hour Careline. Staffcare uses a Strategic Planning System, developed in collaboration with the ICISF, to assess the critical situation and to identify the type of crisis intervention techniques that will be appropriate throughout the crisis period and in the aftermath.

Staffcare currently provides a Critical Incident Response service to the Fire Service, paramedics, bank staff, schools, colleges and a variety of government departments, Health Trusts and residential and community based teams working with vulnerable or volatile client groups.

Staffcare has a team of ICISF accredited trainers, able to provide CISM, First Responder and Peer Support training.
