According to recent Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
research, a total of 13.8 million working days were
lost due to stress, depression and anxiety last year.
The overall aim of counselling is to support the individual
to identify their own strengths and resources, explore
options and overcome problems and work towards living
a more satisfying life.
People may come to counselling for a number of reasons.
- Relationship issues, personal or at work
- Feeling overwhelmed at work
- Bereavement
- Conflict
- Dealing with change
Staffcare offers access to immediate telephone counselling
via the Careline, or you can arrange a face-to-face
counselling appointment within 3 working days of contacting
the Careline. Staffcare offers short-term counselling,
with the maximum number of counselling sessions available
being agreed in partnership with the client organisation.
